Aside from entering the military for four years at the age of 17, Tim ‘Willas’ Clark has been a commercial diver and salvage expert for all of his working life.
His experience as a commercial diver has extended to projects in South America, South East Asia, Middle East, Australia - including North West Shelf and Bass Strait. He holds ADAS qualifications 2815. 1,2,3,4.
Willas grew up in Sorrento, and he and his wife and four daughters are still living on the Peninsula today. He carried out his first swing mooring inspection in 1985 operating out of the shed in the aquarium car park.
These days his business specialises in marine salvage, and the installation, repair & maintenance, and mandatory Parks Victoria annual inspection of swing moorings around Port Phillip Bay, particularly from Mornington to Portsea, and the mooring grounds at Flinders/Hastings/Balnarring/Cowes in Westernport Bay.
